SERVICE DEPARTMENT

Our service department has two fully qualified mechanic offering mechanical repairs, servicing and WOF for all types of vehicles. With over 6 years experiance with new Ssangyongs, we are the Ssangyong experts and carry a comprehensive range of parts.  In our large and brand new workshop, will ensure your vehicle is running great and will stay on the road, where it should be.

We perform all after sales service, including the latest diagnostic tools, for the whole Ssangyong range, and of course we are the Bay of Plenty's Ssangyong parts supplier.

Service Manager - Ray Mayos

Ray is a fully quailifed mechanic with over 25 years experience.  In the past he has worked on new Holdens, Puegots, Hyundai and of even new Tractors.  With that type of experience, you can be assured your vehicle is in good hands, no matter what make or model.  Ray started work here at Sheaff Vehicles back in 2000 when we just dealt with Used Japanese imports.  Over that time he has built a loyal customer base who continue to sing his praises.   Ray is happilied married with two lovely daughters and enjoys the occasional trail bike ride, running and a spot of trout fishing.

Service Technician - Mark Sheaff

Mark started work for the family business back in 2000, initially as a groomer, before moving on to a mechanics assitant and then formally started his mechanical apprentiship in 2003.  He completed his apprenticship in early 2008 and also qualified as an LTSA approved WOF inspector.  Having been involved in the workshop (under the expert guidance of Ray) has meant Mark is a great asset to the team.  Mark loves surfing, snowboarding and recently has taken up hunting and fishing is a big way.

As an LTSA approved site, we can meet all of your vehicle certification needs, including VIN, WOF and re-registration for nearly all vehicles, including motorcycles.

Our staff also have years of experience when it comes to replacing seatbelts to meet all current safety requirements and we offer a "while you wait" replacement service.
